After a lot of deliberation, I decided to purchase my first ever property at Breathe Residence in Alderley. The decision hinged on a number of factors.
First, I appreciate the thoughtfulness around the liveability of the space with regard to what makes humans happy – light, air, and plants!
Second, I value the minimalist, clean, modern look – especially the high concrete ceilings and the floor to ceiling glass doors that lead to the planter-lined balcony. The approach makes apartment living feel as spacious as possible.
And I REALLY love the rooftop garden aspect and the atrium in the middle of the building – the more green the better! The sustainability aspect also impressed me – water tanks for community gardens and high efficiency fixtures are good for the planet and for keeping body corporate fees low.
Finally, the folks driving the project – sales crew, architects, and builders all seem like solid, honest folks. They even hooked up wine and nibbles at an info night recently to help buyers understand the ins and outs and to de-risk the off-the-plan purchase process.
Con, the lead architect, generously chatted to me about his passion for plants and considered spaces. He very clearly takes pride in his work – something I deeply respect and am excited to back. I can’t wait for move-in day!
